Bea Merry grew up in Madrid. Following her studies in Law and Master in Financial Markets, she spent a year in Madagascar working as a Managing Director for the NGO "La Maison de L'Eau de Coco ("House of the Coconut Water"). There in Africa, is where she learned Photography from one of the best documentary photographers in the country, Pierrot Men. Men has a very special talent capturing the most amazing photographs of malagasian children....
She then moved to New York, where she worked at the United Nations as an Advisor for the European Union. Back to Spain, she worked for a year as an assistant to the unique Art Photographer named Oukaleele.
Bea then decided to go back to school to fulfill -for good- her passion for Photography learning the craft and techniques from the Masters. She put together a portfolio and got a top Scholarship.
Two years later, she graduated with honors from the International Center of Photography (ICP) in New York City.
